Join The National Federation of the Blind of North Carolina!

Becoming a member of the National Federation of the Blind of North Carolina is easy to do! Membership in the NFB of NC is rewarding because it opens up a network of unparalleled support, friendship, and resources. Together with love, hope, and determination, we help you transform your dreams into reality.

Why Join?

Mark Riccobono, President of the National Federation of the Blind, knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines him or his future, and he demonstrates this truth every day, as do our members across the nation. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back. In this video, President Riccobono invites you to join us because together with love, hope, and determination, our Federation family will transform dreams into reality.

Join A Local Chapter or Division

The best way to become an active member of the Federation family is by joining a local chapter or division. The state of North Carolina has chapters across the state and a division dedicated to blind merchants. For a full list of North Carolina's chapters and divisions please click here. Becoming involved with a local chapter or division is simple, provide your contact information and personal details along with dues to the chapter or division President, or his or her designee. Becoming a member of a local chapter or division also includes a membership to the organization, thus allowing you the opportunity to vote in business meetings, attend events, and run for state or national leadership positions.

Become a Member At Large

If a chapter or division is not a good fit for you, consider joining the National Federation of the Blind of North Carolina as a Member at Large. A Member at Large still receives all of the same benefits of chapter or division members. To become a Member At Large please complete the registration form.
